This started out as a doodle in Spanish class. I really sort of like it now, which is an accomplishment for me since I usually hate my own art. She reminds me of the little girl I babysat in France, Alexandra. She'd always ask for flowers from her grandma's garden to put in her hair, and she was really sweet and adorable, so I had to choose a French word for the title. It means "pretty."

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
