Woooooow, it's been a really long time since I updated this! Sorry, I promise I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but I've just been extremely busy lately. Yesterday I had to march in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Savannah (YAY BAND GEEKS!!!), night before last a few of my friends slept over at my house (awesomeness), last week I went to a math competition with my school (YAY MATH GEEKS!!!), and the week before that I had a piano festival (......ew). Um, past that I really can't remember. Anyway, life has just been crazy, but I still got some stuff drawn. Hopefully, if my technology cooperates for once and my mom forgets that I'm supposed to be cleaning my room today, then I'll get some of my new art posted on DA and you guys can tell me all about how much you love it. Okay, well that might not really happen, but I'll still put it up anyway... Enjoy!

Hello good people of deviantart! I just went to Chattanooga with my mom, my 12-year-old brother and three other sixth graders for the weekend. We shared one hotel suite and went on a six-hour-long cave expedition. I deserve a freakin' medal or something!!! Anyway, just letting you know that that's where I got all the new stuff I'm putting up right now. As I've said before, I'm really NOT a good photographer, but I just had a bunch of fun taking all these pictures and thought it would be good to put them all on deviantart since I haven't uploaded any drawings in awhile. I'm sorry! I promise you I have quite a few new ones ready, but it's really just I'm too durn lazy to go all the way upstairs to the scanner and then have to spend half an hour crying over how much it killed my meticulous shading..... :] So here's to letting you know I'm about to upload some new stuff in just a few minutes and more will follow it when I'm in a productive mood!

IT'S SLEET!!! SLEET!!! Sorry for the joyfulness and the all-caps, but....SLEET. It's never cold way down here in the south, but now it might even snow tomorrow, and if it does there's no school. Life is good.

Also, I was really lucky today for some reason, which is very unusual for klutzy little me. Firstly, I had 3 tests. 3 tests in one day. That's against the rules, but our principal (and all the students....and teachers) hate freshmen, so they didn't do anything about it of course. Anyway, I really was trying to study early this morning since we didn't have band for once, but I kept falling asleep so I didn't get much done. Hehehe....Sleep deprivation is awesome....

Anyway, I studied like crazy for the physics quiz....for 30 seconds....and after I turned in the test the teacher just kind of randomly asked if I'd studied for it at all and then told me I was awesome.....so....??? Next I had Spanish before the religion quiz, but our Spanish teacher tends to walk around while we work so I didn't think I'd get to study at all. Thankfully though, the one day I needed to work got to be the one day all year that the teacher was gone and we had a sub! It was flippin' sweet. I studied and then took the test without a problemooooooo..and then math was easy just cuz I'm a huge dork and I LIKE doing math. I know it's weird.

THEN....rehearsal for Bye Bye Birdie AND the basketball game on Friday were cancelled. I love life. Sometimes.....well, I do NOW!!!!

With my next two new additions I figured that I would submit one serious one and one silly one! The first one, Grace, is just a picture of a woman that I drew a few days ago. I started it just as a practice on 3/4 view faces, becuse for me it's always easier just to draw them straight on since I hate noses, but after I finished it I kind of liked it!

The next one is pretty flippin' sweet. No, really. Just go see it for yourself so you can fall in love with it like I did!

Also, my friend recently put a link to my gallery in her journal, which was really nice of her, so I wanted to return the favor. She's done some really cool drawings and amazingly beautiful photographs, so go visit her!!! ...Please.

And on a random note that has NOTHING do with art, band rules! That was sarcasm. I spent my Friday night playing clarinet at a basketball game. I don't even LIKE basketball games. At least we won! No, band's actally pretty awesome, but I just have a love/hate relationship with it. And afterwards some of my fellow band geeks and I went out to see I Am Legend and Juno!!! I had heard a lot of great things about I Am Legend, and it was mostly good, but one thing was too weirdly convenient and impossible. If you've seen it I'm guesing you know what I mean, but if not I don't want to ruin it... And also....THOSE FRIGGIN' MUTANT PEOPLE SCARED THE CRAP OUTTA ME!!! They looked like Voldemort. Except weirder and with noses and an impossibly tiny lung capacity. I didn't think the actual movie was scary AT ALL, but....yeah....those dudes were pretty weird.

Juno was just plain awesome. I loved it. Except all my friends told me I looked like her. Hmmm...oh well. Anyways, it was an aweome movie. Prepare to see a new addition to my DA list of fav movies.
